If your heat press needs change from just a flat press to a multitype press you are covered. For example you may have started pressing ink transfers which require very little pressure and then switching to wanting to press sublimation or super colour transfers that require a high pressure heat press.

i.e If you find that your press isn’t suitable e.g. you need to press different types of transfers or substrates, you can trade up without losing what you paid for your new / secondhand or unexpired portion of your heat press rental agreement.
